SOOO it's finally time. MAEL STRONGHART! To go with the other mythical creatures in the cast, he, absolutely and without a doubt, gets assigned dragon. He was so overwhelmingly DRAGON that he's the reason I changed my stance on mythical creatures in this AU. More yapping + sketches below the cut, with vague implications about his character.

Now, what good dragon is complete without wings? I omitted one for reference, but Stronghart has two shiny dove wings! And yet... Hmm, it's strange. Those aren't his, are they?

rewatched watership down 1978 and as someone who watched this very young i really dont get the narrative of thia being some horribly traumatic or disturbing film. it can certainly be scary, especially for children, but most of that comes from confronting death.

and like lets be real here, every child, at least where im from in north america, is constantly confronting death. children dont just know ABOUT death, they simply know death, and i dont think this is a recent development.

as a kid i felt more scared of the nightly news, or nuclear weaponry, or the amber alert sound, or my fucking mom than i did the childrens film with the goofy slav bird and the comforting and hopeful depiction of mortality.

when i was young, and even now as a 20-something, watership down reassures me of deaths presence and gives me ways to cope with it. the world is hostile, they will kill me if they catch me, but theyll have to catch me first.

Killer Queen: Its abilities all revolve around bombs, whose blasts are capable of atomizing people, leaving no trace. Killer Queen's Primary Bomb is to charge any object, inanimate or not, as a bomb simply by touching it. Killer Queen's secondary bomb, Sheer Heart Attack, is an autonomous entity that detaches from Killer Queen's left hand. It is a high range, mobile, heat-seeking bomb that is extremely durable and leaves massive explosions in its wake.

After getting pierced by the Arrow a second time, Killer Queen gains a tertiary bomb, Bites the Dust. It’s an independent bomb that implants Killer Queen into a host body. If the host reveals Kira's true identity in any way, willingly or unwillingly, Bites the Dust will trigger, and any investigators will be blown up before a time loop commences that sends everyone back an hour.

Enigma: Enigma is able to transform objects and people, including the user, into pieces of paper. For simple objects and animals, Enigma can simply apply its ability. However, to trap a person in paper, the user must discover the habits the target displays when afraid.
